Panels, workshops, discussions and film screenings with a special focus on the practices of remembrance, museums and memory sites that deal with the difficult pasts, inspiring memorialization projects and best practices from different geographies will be organized within the scope of the visitor programs of 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory.

23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory turns one year old on 23.5 April 2020. On this special day, we come together online with Sarkis, the artist of the artwork, titled ‘Salt and Light’, installed in the memory site.

An online talk with Sarkis 'On Children and Childhood' was held on 23.5 April 2020, in the first year anniversary of 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory. You can watch the full recording of the talk in Turkish.

Permanent workshops that will be organized within the scope of the public programs of the 23.5 Hrant Dink site of Memory are beginning in September.

This workshop expects the participants to bring three objects or images that represent the past, the present and the future that they imagine. This workshop is a collective creative exercise that aims to shed light on different layers of meaning.

‘Memory Sites, Memory Paths: Towards Another Future’ conference took place on 22-23 March. The conference was organized by Hrant Dink Foundation in cooperation with DVV International and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Turkey Office.
